Dear Friends I just concluded a meeting with around 200 of our pastors that we were able to reach with a short notice to share together on the current situation that has affected our brothers and sisters in Rift Valley, Nairobi, Western Kenya and parts of Central Kenya. In the same meeting we have been able to share with our Pastors our way forward in contributing positively towards re-building Kenya. It emerges that up to around 3,000 of our own have been badly affected by the post election violence in the mentioned areas and will need our prayers and any support we can practically give. We have managed to prayerfully come up with an initiative that we strongly feel will help us have a meaningful and long lasting positive impact on those we are targeting. We remain extremely grateful to all our friends from all over the world who have been in touch with us with messages of love, prayers and encouragement. I call upon our friends to once again stand with us in every way as we try our best to bring hope, love and comfort to our own who have been caught up in the worst thing that has ever happened to us as Kenyans (i.e.) post election violence. Thanks and God bless! Edward Buria |

Before we could sigh in relief from the drought, flash floods came sweeping not only crops, animals, roads and bridges but also swept whatever hope had began to build up with the start of the much awaited rains. This meant a situation we had been addressing through our feeding and other humanitarian interventions moving from worse to worse. We mobilised our teams and any available resources we could get hold of and moved very swiftly and strategically. When it became clear to us that we were right in the midst of a national crisis and that the problem we were into was far greater than we could handle, it was then that (Edward Team Leader) called out for external assistance from our international friends and churches. This appeal was awesomely received and the following months were marked by amazing resources coming in from different places where new frontiers has churches and very dear friends outside of new frontiers. The giving was to reach into tens and tens of millions of Kenya Shillings by the end of the year (2006). God was so good to us! Our emergency interventions had the following dimensions of concentration:-
